WHAT ARE RUSSIAN LIPS?

Russian Doll Lip filler is a specific injection technique that shapes the lips into a subtle heart shape (like a Russian doll). It provides lift to the shape of the lip rather than add excessive volume. It’s ideal for patients seeking a natural-appearing lip enhancement. You’ll also notice that the results have a flatter appearance as height is the goal over plumpness (although you can get both if you want).

Furthermore, if you are interested in trying out a pair of Russian lips, it is important to note that it’s preferred to have a fresh canvas to work with; meaning your previous lip fillers, if had, will need to be dissolved first, roughly two weeks in advance. This ensures that the injected volume will be solely based in the center of the lips. (Note: dissolving doesn’t apply if you already have Russian lip fillers, and are touching up and/or adding to them). 

Whilst most clients have shared that the treatment does not hurt any more than the classic lip, the Russian lip filler  technique does risk significantly more bruising and swelling. Results should settle fully after 2 weeks and both techniques share the same longevity. HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?

Filler dissolves naturally over time, depending on the type of filler you receive you will notice your results last 6-12 months.
