FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ'S)
DOES IT HURT?
Some patients may find they have some discomfort, feel slight pinches and scratches butnothing unbearable. Everyone has different pain tolerances but if numbing cream is applied it’s definitely and the filler has lidocaine in to make it more comfortable.
WILL I BRUISE & SWELL AFTER?
Bruising & swelling is common some worse than others, some dont bruise or swell at all. Everyones body is different its hard to give a definite answer but dont be worried if you do get any bruising or swelling when you come to an appointment we will go through all complications so you know what to look out for
CAN I SMOKE AFTER LIP FILLERS?
Yes you can smoke after. Smoking will not affect the treatment however try and smoke in the middle of your lips if you’re going to be smoking straight after the procedure.
CAN I DRINK ALCOHOL AFTER LIP FILLER?
It’s recommended that you dont drink for 24hrs after a procedure as alcohol can act as a blood thinner making you more prone to bruising and swelling, however i would say dont let that stop you having a glass or 2 if you want to as theres no long term issue with having a drink after.
